Artisanal Bagaceira Grape Spirit

Destilaria do Pico's Bagaceira is produced from fresh Vinho Verde grape pomace from the region, distilled in traditional 500-litre copper stills immediately after harvest. The distillate rests in chestnut barrels for 12 months, gaining smoothness, a light amber colour and toasty notes that complement the fruity and floral character of the pomace. At 38% ABV, it is an elegant and balanced spirit, very different from industrial bagaceiras. 500ml bottle, limited production.
